Miso Brothers, Inc. dba Alpha Foods, is voluntarily recalling its Meatless Breakfast Sandwiches and Burritos

On the 21st of December, 2022, an Alpha Foods Product Recall was initiated, due to Misa Brothers Inc.’s Burritos and Breakfast Sandwiches containing an undeclared allergen of milk. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA)  published Misa Brothers Inc. dba Alpha Foods’ recall on December 21st, 2022, declaring, “Alpha Foods, Glendale, California (December 21, 2022) – Out of an abundance of caution, Miso Brothers, Inc. dba Alpha Foods, is voluntarily recalling its Meatless Breakfast Sandwiches and Burritos due to traces of undeclared milk (Casein – a milk protein), that may pose a health risk for those with milk allergies.” The complete list of Misa Brothers Inc. dba Alpha Foods’ recalled Meatless Breakfast Sandwiches and Burritos are as follows, as seen listed on the U.S. Food & Drug Administration’s (FDA) website.

The above listed Alpha Foods’ affected products were reported to have been distributed not only to customers who ordered the products via directly online, but also throughout the United States in various retail locations. 

 Individuals with milk allergies are strongly encouraged to avoid the recalled Miso Brothers Inc. Alpha Foods Meatless Breakfast Burritos and Sandwiches, as allergic reactions to milk can be severe and occasionally life threatening. 

Customers are encouraged to return the Alpha Foods Meatless Breakfast Burritos and Sandwiches to the location of purchased for a full refund, and to contact Alpha Foods by emailing [email protected].
