A Chipotle restaurant is now at the center of a food poisoning outbreak in California. The Chipotle is located in Simi Valley at 1263 Simi Town Center Way, Simi Valley, CA 93063. According to calls coming in to the offices of the national food poisoning lawyers at Ron Simon & Associates, the victims include a local school, dozens of patrons, and over two dozen employees. Local reports indicate that at least 60 customers have become ill, with one individual reporting to attorney Ron Simon that as many as 18 classmates from a single private school in the area were made ill. According to a CBS report, victims began to descend upon a local emergency room on August 19th, with vomiting, diarrhea and fever – at least one was admitted to the hospital.

One disturbing report indicates that the Simi Valley Chipotle restaurant was compelled to send home 17 employees and to close the restaurant. The Ventura County health department (VCHD), leading the investigation, has yet to identify the source or the pathogen of the outbreak, but tests are pending.

A company representative stated: “The safety and well-being of our customers is always our highest priority. When we were contacted by customers who reported feeling poorly after visiting our restaurant in Simi Valley, we notified health department officials, immediately began a review of the incident, and have taken all of the necessary steps to ensure that it is safe to eat there.”

The food poisoning lawyers at Ron Simon & Associates encourage you to call the Chipotle Food Poisoning Claim Center if you are a victim of the outbreak to discuss filing a Chipotle Food Poisoning Lawsuit. Call 1-888-335-4901.
