Jumbo Foods Inc. located in Mukilteo, WA, announced a voluntary recall of Tuscan Sun brand Frozen and Fresh Chicken Salads Sandwiches as of October 9, 2019, due to possible Listeria contamination. Jumbo Foods Inc. obtains many of its ingredients from Suter Company. The contamination was first discovered when the supplier of Suter Company, Tip Top Poultry, recalled its ready-to-eat poultry products for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Jumbo Food Inc. has distributed products which may have been contaminated to retail grocery stores and food supply services in Arizona, California, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Utah, Virginia, and Washington. The products of concern would have been on the market from March 11, 2019 and September 27, 2019. The frozen sandwiches are of particular concern because they have no sell or use by dates and have an 8 month shelf life. The refrigerated products have a 27 day shelf life. Besides the frozen sandwiches, the rest of the concerned products have sell and use by dates. These labels and descriptions have been published by the FDA and are as follows:
