On the 7th of October, 2022, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced Cut Fruit Expresses recall of their Caribou Coffee Cheese and Fruit Plate. The recall of topic was set in motion after Cut Fruit Express was made aware of their supplier’s Brie Cheese recall, which is found in the Caribou Coffee Fruit and Cheese Plate.

The affected Cheese and Fruit Plate was distributed at various locations in the MSP Airport, in Minnesota, after being shipped between the dates of September 26th and October 5th, 2022. The Used By Dates include 09/30/2022, 10/02/2022, 10/04/2022, 10/07/2022, and 10/09/2022. The Caribou Coffee Cheese and Fruit Plate product number is #3818.

According to the nation’s leading Food Poisoning Lawyer, Ron Simon, “Listeria is a bacterium that induces the food-borne illness known as Listeriosis. Listeria is unique from other types of bacteria in that it can live at surprisingly low temperatures between zero degrees and 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This means the bacteria has the potential to grow on food in the refrigerator and cause food to become contaminated. Listeria is particularly dangerous as it has the potential to transmit from a pregnant mother to her unborn child or even to her infant during the birthing process.”

Individuals experiencing symptoms such as vomiting, abdominal cramps, dehydration, muscle weakness, fever, diarrhea, nausea, headaches, or muscle weakness, after consumption of Cut Fruit Express Caribou Coffee Cheese and Fruit Plate, should take immediate action. This should include alerting one’s local public health authorities as well as contacting a personal healthcare provider.

Consumers are being advised by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and Cut Fruit Express to  immediately DESTROY THE PRODUCT if they have it in their possession. Please do not share or give it to anyone to eat. Consumers who have purchased 6.2oz snack packages of Fruit and cheese plate may return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.”

Customers with questions, comments, or concerns may contact Shelley Ryan at 952-746-2705.
