According to the Mayo Clinic’s description, the “…peanut allergy is one of the most common causes of severe allergy attacks. For some people with peanut allergy, even tiny amounts of peanuts can cause a serious reaction that can even be life-threatening (anaphylaxis)…” Customers with peanut allergies should be aware of possibly being in possession of the recalled David’s Cookies product, or warned before purchasing. Walmart, in unison with David’s Cookies, have ceased production and distribution of both the Marketside Chocolate Chip Explosion Cake and the Marketside Ultimate Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake. These products have been removed from the shelves.
