Yet another premade salad product has been recalled due to Listeria concerns. On the 10th of April, 2023, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) published the brand Meijer’s recall of 12 varieties of Fresh From Meijer premade salad. On the 7th of April, 2023 the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced Fresh Express Incorporated’s voluntary recall of salad kits due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The possible health risk was discovered during a routine inspection by the Georgia Department of Agriculture, where the presence of Listeria was found to be in a random sample of salad. On the 13th of February, 2023, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced an expanded list of Daiso’s prepackaged snacks, which have been placed under an Allergy Alert due to containing allergens which are not stated on the packaging.
