Wegmans Meals Markets, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall of recent Cauliflower Rice, Veggie Cauliflower Rice Mix and Stir-Fry Combine with Cauliflower, bought within the produce division between 12/7/18 and 12/18/18, as a result of it could be contaminated with Escherichia coli O157:H7 micro organism (E. Coli O157:H7). E. coli O157:H7 causes a diarrheal sickness typically with bloody stools. Though most wholesome adults can get well utterly inside every week, some folks can develop a type of kidney failure referred to as Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS). HUS is more than likely to happen in younger youngsters and the aged. The situation can result in severe kidney harm and even loss of life.

The recalled merchandise (with use-by dates of 12/11/18 by 12/22/18) are as follows:

The recalled merchandise have been distributed to 98 Wegmans shops in N.Y., N.J., Pa., Md., Va. and Mass.

No diseases have been reported thus far.

The recall was initiated by Produce Packaging, Inc. based mostly in Cleveland, OH, which provides these merchandise to Wegmans and notified Wegmans that the product might have been contaminated.

Wegmans has positioned automated telephone calls to prospects who bought the product utilizing their Customers Membership card.

Clients who bought the recalled merchandise from Wegmans between December 7 and December 18 ought to return them to the service desk for a full refund.  Customers with questions might contact Wegmans Client Affairs division toll free at 1-855-934-3663 Monday by Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Jap time.
