The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced a multi-state outbreak of listeria on December 18, 2019. The outbreak is believed to be linked to hard-boiled eggs produced by Almark Foods of Gainesville, Georgia, no recalled has been issued at the moment but a warning was sent by the CDC to all retailers and foodservice operators to avoid serving the contaminated egg products. Salad Kit Recall Due to E. Coli Contamination: 8 Cases, 3 Hospitalized The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has issued a recall on Fresh Express salad kits for e. coli contamination.
