The FDA, CDC, and independent labs are investing hundreds of complaints of GTI and liver issues after consumers ate the Daily Harvests French Lentil + Leek Crumbles. About 28,000 12oz pouches of this item were voluntarily recalled back on June 23rd, 2022, by Daily Harvest. These bags are mainly purchased through online sales, delivery, retail, and some pop-up stores across the country. While the company has attempted to contact those consumers known to be at risk, they did release a statement on June 23rd via the FDA, to immediately dispose of any Daily Harvest FrenchLentil + LeekCrumbles pouches that are still in possession.
While it is highly recommended throw this specific item out immediately, no other 100+ menu products from Daily Harvest have been known to have any issues for consumers.
