As of July 26, 2018, this epidemic seems to be finished. CDC, public health and regulatory officials in many countries, and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration investigated an outbreak of Salmonella Adelaide ailments. Seventy-seven individuals infected with the epidemic strain were reported in nine countries. Thirty-six individuals were hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.
