San Juan, Puerto Rico. 12 de octubre, – PepsiCo Caribbean, Inc. ha emitido un retiro voluntario de paquetes seleccionados de cajas de 15,97 oz de Panqueques Quaker con Mezcla de avena integral que contienen soja no declarada. Las personas con alergia o sensibilidad grave a la soja corren el riesgo de una reacción alérgica grave si consumen este producto.

Los productos sujetos a este retiro se distribuyeron en tiendas minoristas en Puerto Rico a partir del 3 de julio de 2023.

Después de realizar una exhaustiva revisión, monitoreo y rastreo, PepsiCo Caribbean, Inc. descubrió que el producto que contenía soja se distribuía en envases que no revelaba la presencia de soja. El error se produjo por etiquetar mal el producto al no declarar soja. Hasta la fecha, no se han reportado reacciones alérgicas relacionadas con este asunto.

Si los consumidores tienen alergia o sensibilidad severa a la soja, no deben consumir este producto y debe ser desechado inmediatamente. PepsiCo Caribbean Inc. ha informado a la FDA sobre esta acción.

Los consumidores pueden devolver el producto descrito a la tienda donde lo compraron, presentando su recibo de compra para obtener un reembolso completo.
