Excessive levels of non-protein nitrogen may be poisonous to cattle and can lead to muscular tremors (especially of ears and face ), stomach pain, tingling, frothy salivation, excessive bleeding, teeth grinding, incoordination, fatigue, shortness of breath and potential death.
