Flowers Foods Issues Voluntary Recall on Mrs. Freshley’s and Other Brands of Swiss Rolls and Captain John Derst’s Old Fashioned Bread

As a preventative step, Flowers Foods, Inc. (NYSE: FLO) is voluntarily recalling Korean Rolls sold under the brand names Mrs. Freshley’s, Food Lion, H-E-B, Baker’s Treat, Market Square, along with Great Value, distributed nationally, along with Captain John Derst’s Old Fashioned Bread dispersed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, because of the Possible presence of Salmonella within a part of whey powder. The ingredient remember was initiated with a third party powder manufacturer and provider. No illnesses have been reported in relation to the remembered items.
